Pool Clarifer VS Pool Flocculant

Small suspended particules usually from dead algae or dust can cause your pool water to become cloudy. Both flocculant and clarifers are coagulants to combine these tiny paricules so that they can either be collected by the pool filter or settled to the bottom of the pool to be vacuumed to waste.

The choice of which product is used will depend on the severity of the cloudiness. If the pool is slightly cloudy a clarifier can be used to help the pool filter with these particules. However if there has been a storm and your garden has washed into the pool or after a major algae bloom a flocculant is a better solution. The flocculant will combine with the paticules and settle them to the bottom of the pool so that they can be vaccumed to waste.
