Pavis Kool Pool Cover With Right Hand Step

The Pavis Kool Pool Cover offers all the benefits of a solar cover, stopping the evaporation of water without heating the pool. Ideal for hot climates such as tropical areas where pools are already warm and suitable for indoor pools.

The Pavis Kool Pool Cover works by blocking the sun rays to prevent them from entering the water, shading the pool from direct sunlight - stopping the solar energy from penetrating the water.

The insulation bubbles protect the pool surface from wind and cold and prevent overnight evaporation. By covering your pool with a Pavis Kool Pool Cover, you will help maintain a consistent water temperature - and save water at the same time.

  • Save Water - Can stop over 99% of evaporation.
  • Save on Chemicals - Chemical use is often cut by around 50%.
  • Save work - reduce leaf and debris in the water.

If you live in the tropics and are only using the Pavis Kool Pool Cover to prevent the water from getting too hot, you might consider keeping the cover on during the day to block the sun's rays from the water. Take it off at night, and the heat built up in the ground around and beneath the pool will be able to dissipate faster. The Pavis Kool Pool cover is a 500-micron cover, and has an 8-year pro-rata warranty.

How to measure for your Pavis pool cover:

Solar blankets are supplied as a rectangular sheet and need to cover the entire pool, including steps. Measure the most extended length and the widest width of the pool (see diagrams below) to ensure you get the correct blanket for your pool at the waterline.

Remove the Pool Cover from the box, and lay it next to the pool. Carefully unfold it, and spread it over the pool surface, bubble side down, smooth side up.
When the pool cover has smoothed out over the pool surface, getting rid of wrinkles and air pockets, you can start trimming to shape with a pair of sharp scissors. Leave a good 10-15cm of extra material all the way around during this first trim, cutting the blanket so that it sits just under the pool coping. When you come to the skimmer box, cut a 'flap' or 'tongue' to sit inside the box.

We suggest fitting the blanket a little larger so that it turns up at the edges, creating a bowl effect within the pool so that leaves or debris will sit on top of the Cover rather than falling into the water. Leaves can then be brushed or blown into the skimmer box before taking the Cover off.
Once you have your basic fit, stop cutting, then leave the blanket to 'relax.' In around 2-3 weeks, you can come back and trim to the final fit.

    Pool stays kool

Keeps pool temp steady and stops evaporation. But has to be used with a roller. Too big and awkward without one. Definitely worth it
