Pressure Pool Cleaners
The pool cleaners for leafy pools, Pressure Pool Cleaners operate from a dedicated return line. Water is pumped through the return line by a booster pump which propels the cleaner around the pool, forcing leaves into a bag located on the back of the cleaner.
Unlike Suction Pool Cleaners, Pressure Pool cleaners don't suck leaves and debris into your pool filter or pump basket. They collect leaves in a net located on the top of the cleaner, allowing the skimmer box to skim leaves freely off the surface of the pool, taking the pressure off the filtration system, and minimising skimmer box clogging baskets.
Pressure Cleaners remove debris from your pool quickly and thoroughly. These cleaners only take around 2 to 3 hours per day to clean the pool working in conjunction with timers.
We strongly recommend building a new pool with a dedicated pressure line, as pressure pool cleaners are the best for leafy pools. No other cleaner will do the job better.
- Dedicated Return Line - This line is usually a 50mm pressure pipe through the pool wall, and then it is run to the pool equipment in a 40mm pipe. The Dedicated return line usually is located halfway down the length of the pool and arms depth deep.
- Booster Pump - These are pressure pumps and are available as Polaris Booster Pumps or Jetvac Booster Pumps. Our staff pick is the Jet-vac Booster pump which is far more durable.
- Delay Switch - As the water for the Pressure Cleaner Booster Pump is sourced from the filtration equipment, the pool pump must be running at the same time as the Booster Pump. To synchronise these two pumps, we recommend a Delay Switch.
